Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
I was arrested in March for breaking and entering, theft, and battery but it was a misunderstaning so the police officer drove me home and I was not charged or fined for anything. This is showing up on a background check with the KBI when I recently applied for a new job. How do I remove this from my file since I was never charged with anything?

You may petition teh court to expunge the record of this arrest. But, of course it may always show up when the KBI does its checks. Once something is on the net, it is always there somewhere.
Good luck
