It is possible for a person to be taken into custody more than once. The subsequent hold can be used against the State in their trial of the crime alleged. However, a series of actions can subject a person to allegations of more than one crime. It may be possible to be arrested for one crime, and then later on another. If you have been arrested, you should consult directly with a defenense attorney , in your area, as soon as you can. You did not provide enough information here to be able to give you advice as to any specific case.
Good luck
