Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
My brother is serving a sentence of 144 days for a CMMT DV Battery, he was trying to leave his now ex-girlfriend (not in her mind ex) after calling police and getting this case against him, she is continuing to send love letters and cards to him and threatens other chicks in some of the letters, is there anything we can do about appealing the sentence based on the continued communication from her because of her testimony he was not offered plea or probation on first offense.

This is excellent information to bring to the attention of the attorney handling your brother's case. It might help him with a motion for rehearing.
Good luck
