Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
Hi. The car I was a passenger in was stopped and they put the k9 on it. I was arrested for a pipe and .5 gram of meth. The woman driving had 9 grams under the hood. We were both taken to jail on the same charges. Possession, possesion w/ intent to distribute, no tax stamp, paraphernalia x2. Why am I being charged with her charges and mine. And why is she being charged with mine and her own? I cannot afford a lawyer due to my bond being $30,000. Plead not guilty and take it to trial? Request my evidence? I clearly am only guilty of the pipe and the half gram.
