Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
Communication Between states
Subject is looking at diversion in
Kansas but for marijuana possession
and paraphernalia, but lives in
Colorado. Diversion agreement
stipulates no criminal violations
within one year. How much
communication is there between
these two states as to crimes that
have been comitted? What about
between any of the other states and
Kansas?

Re: Communication Between states
The diversion coordinator would check with
FBI and NCIS. The check will likely not happen until you have completed other conditions of diversion. Anyway, Kansas law applies here. Get a lawyer in Kansas.
