Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
a false report led to a charge. The DA incorrectly stated the charge on the summons. I am being charged with a crime, that isn't the crime I was accused of, which I did not commit to begin with. what should happen

You should immediately consult directly with a defense attorney in your area. They may be able to use the mistakes by the prosecution to your advantage in your defense. You might also talk with a civil practice attorney about the false report.
