Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas

My friend has a bench warrant for her arrest here in Olathe, Kansas. I was at her house when the cops came to arrest her and I told them I didn't know where she was. I live in Los Angeles, CA. If they find out she was in the house when I told them I didn't know where she was, can this follow me to California?

If you are charged with tampering or giving false information, then you could be charged as an assessory to the crime yrou frined is charged with, or with your charge. If this happens, and you are convicted, the arrest woudl become public record, This recorded conviction could cause you problems in whatever state you live or work in. It could also cause you trouble with some job applications.
