Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas

My friend has been falsely accused for drug possession.

My friend, who just turned 18 3 days ago, was arrested at our highschool because the drug dogs searched his truck. Inside his truck there were two marijuana seeds on his floorboard. Myself, a friend and the one arrested know how they got there. At a party outside my friend turned on his stereo so we could have music. An friend of ours got into his truck to look through CDs. Only we didn't know he started to clean out his marijuana in the front of his truck. Once we realized what he was doing we immediately made him get out of the truck. I guess he dropped the seeds then. My friend is a good guy who has been cleen for almost 4 months, and has had 1 prior conviction of this type years ago. I am trying to figure the best way to approach this issue and find a way to get him out of this. Do you have any suggustions? Anything would be great.

Thanks!

Re: My friend has been falsely accused for drug possession.

Your message isn't clear about which friend did what. . .my answer is from a prosecutor's standpoint: no matter which is your friend. . .and I'm assuming, one friend dropped mj seed in the vehicle of another, tell law inforcement. . .if you do nothing, you're selling both down the river. good luck!
