Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
if you are on house arrest, how do you leave your house for a period of time with out them knowing you have left your house?
1 Answer from Attorneys
If you are wearing a monitor, amputation may be the only way to go out undetected. That is way too extreme for a trip of convenience or boredom. If you need to leave for work, church or to attend awedding or funeral, then you can arrange that through the agency monitoring you. The same can be true for appointment with your attorney or doctor. If you ar ento wearing an elctronic monitor, you can rest assued they do not have an unmarked vehicle on a stakeout outside your house to detect you leaving. But, it is unlawful to leave during house arrest except for the situations described above, or others like them.
Good luck
