Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
In kansas I was arrested for trespassing trying to figure out what I should do. Background. I enter a public establishment where there are many office tenats. I entered a door that had no sign of hours or even a business name on door when I entered the room did have stuff in it mainly just boxes and chairs looked kinda as a storage space. I used outlet and was on way out after fibe mins when guy entered and asked what I was doing there. the doorway to hallway was unlocked and door into room was unlocked. The outside of building has no person on door or hours or do not enter signs what is law and case law. Ehatis my best argument to get dropped or dismissed.

What you described is tresspassing. If the prosecutor chooses to pursue it and the witnesses apepar, you may have few, if any, defenses available. You seem to know that you did not own the property and you stated that it did not appear to be a retail establishment, so you were not a business invitee. You should consult direclty with criminal defense counsel in your area. You need advice based upon more of the particularr facts than you were able to provide here. Many attornies offer a free or low cost initial cosultation. Find one, to see if you can keep this off your record.
Good luck
