Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
In Kansas, Is there a limit of time that can be held in jail before an arraignment or coping a plea of innocent or guilty. If so how long do you have to wait! For say like if you were accused of Rape!

Unless a Habeus Corpis Motion is filed, it us up to the discretion of those holding the suspect. There are civil.liability implications beyond 48 hours. . if you know dinnertime that is being held without being charged, find a way for them to consult with a criminal defense attorney as soon as possible.
