Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
My mother has stolen my identity. I moved to Las Vegas, NV in April 2008. I found an electric bill from Nevada Power that came in my name dating back before I moved out there. My fear is that she's going to move and not pay the bill and the power company will come after me. She's done this before with other members of my family. I moved back to KS in January 2010. She's still living in the same place in Las Vegas. She has a habit of disappearing and leaving the bills in someone else's name. She's done this before with other fanily members. What can I do?
