Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
Moving while on probation
My probation doesn't end until 2008. How could I go about moving from Kansas to California? Do I need to petition the court? Also, my PO stated that I must complete 80% of time and 50% of the fine. Is that correct

Re: Moving while on probation
Whether you get to move is entirely up to your probation officer. And, even if your Kansas PO decides to allow it, CA still has to accept your probation. You have an uphill battle. I would start by filing a motion with the court. You can contact me directly at my email address if you want. [email protected]
