Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
I am a police officer in Kansas. My Chief of Police has filed a false report on my Dad which he claims he did to "test my loyalty" to the department. My dad is a beloved citizen and a Vietnam Veteran who suffers from an extreme case of PTSD and doesn't interact with many people. The claims are categorized as Disorderly Conduct but are entirely false. Is there anything I can pursue of my Chief?
