Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
I did a prank to my friend by spraying washable hair dye on his car's windows. He called the cops on me and I got a 250 dollar ticket for "Criminal Damage to Property". We were friends but he did not get the joke. Nothing was damaged and the color came off all the way. He would not drop the charge, what can I do in this case?

You or your attorney can talk with the prosecutor about the possibility of lessening the charge, because it was a misinterpreted prank among friends Or, you can opt to defend yourself from the present charge. Or, you can just pay the ticket.
