Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
I am presently under a restraining order from an ex-girlfriend. She has used this order to prevent me from attending many of the functions that I used to by showing up at these functions herself. I need to attend a convention in several months and if she also attends I am afraid that she will try to violate the restraining order. Isnt she in violation herself if she goes somewhere knowing that I will be there? How can I get around this harassment?

Petition the court that issued the order for an exception to allow you to attend the convention.
Good luck
