Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas

Recently, I tried to buy some marijuana from a friend. I gave my friend the money. He was acting suspiciously, so I asked for my money back. Since then, he's told me that he gave the money to a friend and couldn't get it back. I start asking question/demanding my money back. Later, his friend texts that he has friends in my area that can visit me and to "not be a victim." In the text messages, his friend (a felon) admits he's sold drugs before and mentions "lemon haze" in regards to what he was going to get me. Since I demanded my money back, is it likely I'd face charges if I reported these threats? Also, what charges would the other two be looking at? The incident happened in Manhattan KS.

You git cheated by a coconspirator. If code you could be prosecuted fur your part in the conspiracy. But, you can repirt the threats and seek a restraining irder withiyt mentuonunh the marijuana.
