Sentence Reduction
I need to know how to go about getting a motion for sentence reduction on a 17.6 yr sentence for Solicitation to commit Murder and Attempted Murder.

Re: Sentence Reduction
If the conviction is more than one year old you will have a difficult time getting a sentence reduction.
If you have startling new evidence not previously considered by the court you could get a hearing, but there is no right to sentence reduction just because.
It is most advisable to have professional help if attacking a conviction and sentence as this is a highly technical area.
