Traffice law question
If one is issued a traffic violation and the officer writing the ticket includes false information such as an incorrect date or misspelling the violators name, is the ticket still valid?

If we're talking typographical error, then the ticket will most likely be amended.

Yes, the ticket is still valid. Even if they made an error the judge will let them correct it. This happens fairly frequently.
