Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas

Violation of Conditions

I was placed on 18mths probation for Forgery. I was also issued 100 hrs comm. service and 1600 restitution. My charge was In Kansas and my probation was transferred to Texas where i reside. I completed all 18 months of my time as of 7/18/06 without any violations and also paid all restitution. However community service was never done because my supervising county didnt place me anywhere to complete my C.S. until three weeks before my discharge date which didnt leave me time to complete will holding down full-time employment. My supervising county discharged me and I have since found out there is a warrant out for my arrest as of 7/24/06. What do I need to do

Contact a Criminal Law attorney in Kansas. In Texas, contact your probation officer to see if he can help you ascertain what the warrant is for. It may be unrelated to your probation status.
