Legal Question in Education Law in Kansas

Penny fund to send me to college.
I would like to know if there are any laws governing setting up a penny fund to help put myself through college? I am a single mother of 2 and cannot afford more debt. I would like to put an ad in the paper asking people to send me there pennies, (to a PO box). I would roll them and put them in a savings account to go towards my schoolling. What should I know to keep this legitimate with the laws.
