My mother did transfer of death to me on her house. does this protect house being taken if she enters a nursing home after death?

If your mother lives three years and a day after making the designation, the property might be safe from a Medicare reimbursement claim. You and she should consult directly with an elder care or estate planning attorney in her area. It might be better that she transfer the property to you or a trust now. She needs advise based upon the particular facts of her situation,more than a vague answer to a generalized question.
