Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas
1) If the father is a student and unemployed what type of financial obligation does he have.
2) The father lives full time with his parents and is supported 100% financially by them. Does the fathers parents have any liability/responsibility towards child support?

Under normal circumstances, a court will take the position that a person's responsibilities as a father come before the person's responsibilities as a student. The fact that a parent is unemployed does not override the parent's legal obligation to support a minor child. A grandparent has no obligation to financially support a grandchild.
