Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

Back due CS....justifiably contested /tax refund protection

I filed for modification Feb of 2000.

Was told to use court appt. case mgr.

Ex- played the case mgr. for 5 months....then refused to cooperate.

Refiled in Dist court..... then had delay after delay by ex-

Finally heard and ruled on in 2/2002.

9600.00 back due accrued due to deficits every month...

THis is all being contested and ... as long as the courts follow the law, I should be forgiven for the debt.

Query, I should have a substantial refund from the govt.

I already received a notice stating they will garnish any tax refunds.

How do I protect refund while this is all being played out?
