Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas
My brother's ex is taking him back to court a second time (from 6 weeks ago) for full custody of my niece. She is stating that he never gave him his new address (he has proof of a text message he sent to her 30 min after court) and that she doesn't know who babysits her while he is working (his wife now). But the only thing he has to tell her is if they are using daycare, the ex needs to agree on the facility. Since he isn't using daycare, he doesn't have to tell her who is watching her and vice versa. The judge dismissed these claims 6 weeks ago, and now she is re-filing them again 6 weeks later! He has proof of everything and that she is once again lying. Is there any law or past case that my brother can refer to putting her into contempt for lying to the judge? Or can he fill full custody bc she keeps lying to the courts? I feel she is taking advantage of the courts time and my brothers to make his life miserable. Ugh!

Your brother need so secure counsel, if he has not already. Perhaps you can help him with that. Otherwise there may be frequent trips to the court house for these two.
