What court has continuing jurisdiction in this case?

If it's KS, then you need to talk to a KS attorney.

I don't know KS law.

It sounds like you might have a case.

You definately need to talk to a knowledgeable family law attorney.

Most will sit down with you for an hour for around $200.

I charge $100 an hour to sit down and talk to potential clients about their options. If you are in TX and it's a TX case, it might be work an hour to just talk.
