Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas
Child support and insurance coverage
My wifes ex just quite his job and moved, we think. This means his children have no child support or insurance coverage from him. He has not seen them since January this year. It is now October. They do not want to see him, because of the woman he is with. So I guess he decided to forget about it. What legal action could we take, and not have to make the kids go see him???

Re: Child support and insurance coverage
Your story involves at least three issues. 1) Child support. 2) Health insurance. 3) Parenting time. You should consult an experienced family law attorney to discuss filing a Motion to Modify the current parenting plan to reflect the father's failure to maintain contact with the children.
