Child Support

I would like to know if in Kansas is child support required/legal if the child is at/over eigthteen but still living at home with the other parent and going to college? Thank you for your time.

Re: Child Support

A parent is generally relieved from paying child

support when the child reaches the age of 18. The

exception to this would be if the child turns 18

and is still in high school. If the child is

still in high school when the he/she reaches the

age of 18, the child support obligation may be

extended until the child graduates from high

school.
