Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas
I have credit cards in my name only. My husband seems to think that he is "on the hook" for the debt I accrue if we should divorce. I don't think so. Who is correct?

If the cards are just inyrou name, it is likely that the court will put that debt with you. If the balance were incurred during the marriage and they were for marital stuff, your husband will probably get marital debt to equal the amount on these cards. So, if that sense, he will get stuck with the debt. But, the creditors will probably not be able to go after him directly for payment of the balances, unless he was an authorized user and he used them.
Good luck
