when is my divorce final and the 30 day wait time start for my remarriage

Good question! In Kansas, a divorce becomes final thirty days after the Decree of Divorce is filed with the Clerk of the Court, UNLESS, the case is appealed during that thirty day period. In that event, the case is final thirty days after the final Journal Entry disposing of all appeals is filed with the Clerk of the Court.
