Divorce

Hi I left California Dec. 2007 and moved to Kansas I was in a very abusive marriage and would like to get a divorce...but he still lives in California....we were in contact from dec 07to march 08 and then not until oct 08 did he find me....my finances are tight and I have been married to him since sept. 1994 please help me I would like to have this done fast want to just move on and no there is no property or children involved.
