Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

During our divorce we both made gentleman's agreement on the home equity. However it was not stated on our divorce decree that I am entitled half of the equity. Is there any way I can contest to it?

Your ability to make claim for the home equity will depend on what the divorce decree says, and how your home was titled. Although the divore decree should have addressed the situation, you may be able to claim a portion of the home equity if you had some marital contribution. Consult an experienced family law attorney.
