Divorce property/Medical Settlement

I have been married for 20 years and we are talking about divorcing. My question is he is getting a workman comp settlement and I need to know if I am intitled to half of the settlement. Also, I assumming the propery will be split in half as far as the equity goes is that correct? Thanks!!

Usually in Kansas his worker's comp is his and only his. The rest of the property is subject to division by the court. This does not necessarily mean 50/50. But, you will get a share of the property.
