in the state of kansas how does an add need to be formatted to be legal notification of intent to divorce and how long must it run in a local newspaper

Re: divorce

Publication service is only allowed in certain cases. Some paperwork must be filed with the court before service by publication can be attempted. The actual publication must be accomplished accordig to Kansas law.

K.S.A. 60-307 sets out the requirements, but you should seek the assistance of an experienced family law attorney to avoid problems.
