Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I got a divorce last year and my name is still attached to multiple items which I and my ex-wife possessed. I am needing to refinance on my vehicle but am not able to because my name is still showing up on things such as the house that we had together. My ex-wife is not willing to refinance on the house but has remarried and I need my name taken off of everything she still has because she is not paying for certain things and it is causing my credit to be lowered. What can I do to get this taken care of?

Your divorce attorney may be able to assist you with getting your name off of some items. If not, then you may have top get creative. Your ex may need to pay rent to you for her new husband living in the house., etc.
