Engagement broken, What about the ring?

I was engaged to a woman, but the engagement was broken off. Later I found out that there is a great liklihood that she may have cheated on me. I have not received the ring back (which is a family heirloom). Do I have rights to get this back? She has promised to send it back for a little under a year now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you considered filing a small claims petition? You don't need counsel to do so...go to your local district court clerk and ask for the papers to do so. . .good luck.
