Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

My ex-wife and I were divorced in 2006. I am getting mail that says I owe money to her in back child support. The child in question was living with me. I went to the court house to ask some questions and found out that the divorce paper work she filed was altered by her after we completed the documents, had them notarized and signed by both parties and witnesses. I have the original that shows the correct information and the court has the altered document that has all the scratched out info. Can this altered document hold up in court?

You need to consult directly with a family law attorney, as soon as is practicable. They may be able to get the altered document set aside.
