If a father of a child who is paying child support, decides that he does not what the rights to the child. Can he sign over his rights to the child and not have to pay child support?

The obligarion to pay support is seperate from visitation rights, amd the like. You may be able to waive your right to have visits or have a say in important decisions. But, your obligation to support would remain. Only the Court can terminate your support obligation. This usually happens by a change of custody, or adoption by your ex,s spouse.
