Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas
Father's rights
About three years ago my boyfriend dated a girl who says she has twin sons by him. But we have not been able to locate her until recently. We have been told by a police officer that she is wanted. My boyfriend wants to be at least able to see his children. But he would really like custody. But she has all the control. What, if anything can he do?

Re: Father's rights
Good for your son.. .children need both a mother and father. Contact your local SRS office and inquire of the Court Trustee how he might go about arranging for a paternity test to prove his fatherhood of the children. Then he can Petition the Court for custody/visitation of his children should the DNA test indicate he is indeed the father.

While the answer is probably the same, is the child and/or custody decree in Tennessee of Kansas? If TN, see www.gsmithlawfirm.com and give me more info.
