Other people have trie dthis trick before, but it usually leads to someon going to jail, or the nother not receiving state ro federal benefits, and may disallow the tax benfits of parenthood. I do nto recommend that the mother allow her partner to do this. The partner can always agree by writtien contract to be responsible for all the expenses of the child. There is no benefit of pretending to be the father.
