Who Has Jurisdiction Regarding The Children?

Hello,

If original divorce preceedings where filed in the State of Nebraska and have not been completed, would a spouse have the right to start another proceeding regarding the children in the State of Kansas?

This has been done and the Kansas Judge keeps over ruling what the Nebraska Judge orders. I am at a loss and need to know if this is legal. Thank you for your assistance.

Where do the children reside and w/whom. . .the courts can work together to determine where the proper jurisdiction would be. You did not provide enuf information for a concise response.
