Genrally, courts frown upon unilateral communication with the court. But, in some limted instances it is permissable. In some cases liek that oen you described, a party can request in camera (in judges cahmbers) communication of medical details to teh court. Ussually the attorney(s) for the other side are there too, but they can be admonished by the court not to reveal certain private information to their client, and that portion of the recoird coudl possilby be sealed.

Your attorney can explain this to you in more detail. If you do not have an attorney, you can still request an in camera communication with the court. But, it is unlikley you will be able to navigate the process of keeping the information private, let alone convince the court.

Good luck
