Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

More love for Horses than Children

My mother and father are getting a divorce. My dad has emptied the accounts, canceled the credit cards and taken the checks..everything. Leaving my mother with my two younger brothers and no money. They own rental propriety . He has even gone and collected rent money and kept it from my mother. The mortgages for said houses are coming up and me and my 17 year old brother are having to make up the difference. To top it off his lawyer called and said that if we do not take care of his horses and cows as good as if he were around we can be charged with animal neglect. What about child neglect? I am the only child he is allowed to speak to and he wont. What can i do and how can i help my family?
