Spousal support is up to the court. Kansas is a no-fult state, so yrou wife;sinfidelity, whiel viel dna disgusting, may not affect the distribiutoin of assets much if at all. If you wife fiesl for divorce and aks for spousla support, the court will lookat the relative balnce of financail respources between you and her. If you hav ealswys worked nd she has nto, you may liley have to pay support for a whiel, bsed upon teh length of the marriage. teh bad thing for non-working spouses is that they sometimes get income imputed to them, if they fail to find work, evn if it is due to the bad economy. In this sense, the infideltiy may be taken into consideration by the judge, when deciding the length of time that sousla suppor tis to be paid. The thinkin is unoffically "if she had time to run around, she had time to get a job" or, "if she is dependent upon his income, why would she cheat on him?" They may want to see what the other man makes, to determine what assets the wife has available to her. That is not the official policy, and does not happen in every case.
Good luck
