Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

If you have been married for 16 yrs n your husband is getting disability n SSI for our young son and now he wants a divorce. He is also going to get an inheritance when his grandmother passes. Am I untitled to any of this?

Except under unique circumstances, an ex spouse is not entitled to a portion of a familial inheritance. As for the ssi on your child, it matters who has custody. You should consult directly with a family law attorney in your area.
