what is a material change?

I'm looking at K.S.A 60-1610 (a)(2)(A) and i want to know what a material change would be?

Good question! A material change in circumstances is intentionally not defined in the statute. This allows a judge to consider many types of evidence that have a direct bearing on where a child should live, and the other terms of a parenting plan. It also implies that unless a material change of circumstances is shown, no changes in custody details should be granted.
