parents have rights as to their chidlren. The State dow grant some rights to the granparents, but they are usually not allowed to contradict the rational decisios of the parnets. I fyou are yrou boyfriend are less than eighteen years old, and nto emancipated, then the garnparents may have more authority, as they are the parents of the minor child that has now become a parent. The facts of each case can change how a judge will treat reports or requests from family members. If you are concerned, you should consult direclty with an attorney in your area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation.
