Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

What do I do if I got a PFA on my wife based upon statements made by my minor child that I have since discovered are untrue. There was a PFA ordered on her in 2014 for events that were backed up by our younger son, but these new accusations made by our 13 year old I have discovered are not true, and as I said based on prior actions including our oldest son calling the cops on his mother earlier this year for destroying things in our home our of anger and having no reason to doubt my son when he made these latest claims as I was nort present during the alleged incidents I got a PFA on her. Can I just ask for the PFA to be dropped and is there any legal repercussions a judge can impose?

If you now doubt the source of the information that led you to seek protection, you might at least inform the Court and her. Mistakenly believing the child usually will not get you in trouble. Hiding the discovery that it wasn't true could.

Good luck
