Pfa/abuse
I will like to know if it is legal for the defendent in a pfa case to file for divorce the day before the pfa hearing?

Either party can file for divorce at any time. Normally, the PFA case will be merged into the divorce action, so it is important to get Temporary Orders in the divorce case.
