Possession - ex-wife or live-in girlfriend

I've been dating a guy for nearly eight years. We have been living together for the pass four or five years. I have contribute and for the last 4 months paying all the bills. My name isn't on anything he owns. He purchased his house while he was married. If something happens to him am I entitled to the house and the things inside or will everything go to the ex-wife.

Everything would most likely go to his legal heirs. Usually not his exwife. You need to talk to him about whether he has done any estate planning. And does he have any children. Usually they would get his possession and property.
